Day of Hair Transplantation
Since the hair should not be washed for 3 days after the operation, we recommend you to take a shower and wash your hair on the day of the hair transplantation. You can prefer comfortable clothes such as tops with zippers or buttons which you can easily wear and take off. Do not drink caffeinated drinks before the operation. Do not apply hair gels, hair sprays, or herbal or cosmetic products that you may have been using for hair loss.
Post-Operative Process
Generally the hair is lost and then it regrows within the first 2 to 3 months after the hair transplant operation. Sometimes the hair loss occurs within the first month. This is not anything to be concerned about. The hair grows again, especially after the third month, and 80% of the follicles that are transplanted will have grown hair from the 6th to the 8th month. The success of hair transplantation becomes obvious at the end of the 12th month. At this point, your hair has a 100% natural and healthy appearance as the grafts grow hair.
